Job Description

Nexus Prime Recruiters is seeking 2 diligent and detail-oriented Data Entrants to support a client undertaking an MBA research project. The selected candidates will be responsible for collecting, entering, and verifying data using tablets over a period of approximately two weeks.

Responsibilities

Collect data accurately using a tablet-based data collection tool as per instructions.
Ensure timely and complete entry of data.
Verify and validate the collected data for completeness and accuracy.
Maintain confidentiality and security of data collected.
Report daily progress to the supervisor or project manager.
Troubleshoot basic issues with the tablet or data entry software (with support).
Follow all ethical guidelines and project protocols during data collection.

Qualifications:

Minimum of a Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or equivalent; A-Level or Diploma is an added advantage.
Prior experience in data entry, survey data collection, or research assistance is preferred but not mandatory.
Basic computer literacy, particularly familiarity with tablet usage and data entry applications.
Good command of English and/or local language relevant to the data collection area.
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Requirements

Own reliable transportation or ability to travel to assigned data collection sites (if applicable).
Availability for the full two-week period without interruptions.
Willingness to comply with all data confidentiality and ethical standards.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines.
Ability to handle repetitive tasks with consistency and accuracy.
